If you are an action sport athlete, coach or potential sponsor then you should check out this social networking site.
Athlete Focus is a social networking site for action athletes. If you are into snow skiing, snowboarding, cycling, BMX, surfing, motocross, mountain biking, skateboarding, triathlon, water skiing or wake boarding then you can use this site to connect with other athletes, find coaching or get sponsorship.
This is a free service intended to allow action athletes to get together online and show off what they can do. Show off your accomplishments, find other people to ride with, tell about your skills and have discussions about your favorite sport with other athletes in the forum.
Athlete Focus has been online since October 2006. Already they have hundreds of registered users on the site. When you sign up you will get a profile page of your very own. On your profile page you can tell all about you and your sport. Tell what you love about your sport and make other's love it too.
You get a blog where you can tell about your accomplishments when they happen or anything else you want to tell about. You can add photos and even videos to your profile too. If you are looking for a sponsor you can add that to your profile then if a sponsor comes across your site they will know to contact you.
If you don't want to wait for a sponsor to contact you, contact them. Later in the year sponsors will be added to the site, then you can browse through them and find one that's right for you.
